We cater to the independent author and publisher and want to promote their work to our growing readership!
Let’s face the facts: everyone thinks they’re an author and the saturation of this market poses major problems for talented authors to connect with new readers.
Browsing for quality independently published fiction has become cumbersome. So we review the literary world’s largest slush pile, mining for diamonds in the slush.
We want our readership to discover the best independent genre authors on the planet here!

Tom Adams is an imaginer drifting between lands of speculative fantasy, horror and bizarro. When he strays back into the realm called reality he finds himself in Middleland; a geologically beautiful gamut of scenery in the north-west of England. The forces that drive him shift their shapes with sharp needles of inspiration, but at present include the art of Zdzislaw Beksinski, the music and words of Ronnie James Dio and a frankenstein amalgam of word-scriptors such as Vonnegut, Tolkien, Clevenger, Le Guin, King and Bradbury.
Flora is an avid fan of horror, crime and has a fascination with serial killers and the human psyche. She has a wicked sense of humour, and has a particular interest in nutrition, law, politics, photography, the arts, and pizza. She is a little animal mad, rescuing cats from across the EU. Flora is always on the lookout to broaden her horizons, and is a mental health, and equalities champion.
Mario Guslandi was born in Milan (Italy), where he currently lives. A long time fan of dark fiction, he’s probably the only Italian who reviews horror and supernatural tales in English. Over the years his reviews have appeared in many genre sites such as Horrorworld, The British Fantasy Society, Hellnotes, The Agony Column, Thirteen o’ Clock, Emerald City, SF Revu etc.
Kendra is a professional book blogger and now works full-time for IndieMuse. She has worked for several publishing companies over the years, on staff as a copy editor and assistant editor. She used to spend her days in a boring 9-5 cubicle and her nights in her comfy pjs and herbal tea as she devours her favorite reads. Now she does the latter more frequently. 😉
Elizabeth L. learned to read when she was only three years old, and her love of books has only grown since then. Though she reads many different genres, horror will always be her first love. Born and raised in Texas, she shares her home with two kids and a handful of furry critters.
Richard started reading horror books at a young age, starting with R L Stine's 'Goosebumps' and 'Point Horror' series. He traumatised himself at the age of twelve when he read Stephen King's 'IT', and never looked back. He is currently based in the UK, where he lives with his partner, and an inappropriate amount of books.
Larry Roberts has been a bookseller and publisher for over 30 years. He is currently the founder, owner and operator of Miskatonic Books where he continues to sell rare, limited edition and antiquarian genre titles as well as publishing under his Azoth Press, Arcane Wisdom and Biblio Obscura imprints.
Shane Staley’s career in professional publishing spans more than 20 years. He is the founder of Delirium Books. In 2005 he won the Bram Stoker Award for excellence in specialty press publishing.
He has published more than 300 titles through various imprints of Staley & Associates. He is also a Bram Stoker-nominated author and professional web developer.
Throughout his career, his creative drive to support and promote the independent author and artist has resulted in the establishment of a prolific career in the arts and entertainment world.
His creative output includes web development projects, book design and layout, editing and publishing. He is also an independent freelance publishing partner to several authors and publishers.

Mort Stone lives in untamed Africa, where he rides his lion to work every morning to slave away as a scientist who learned how to fake competency.
Reading is his passion…well, the one he can admit to, anyway. As an aggressive pacifist, he chooses to fight vicariously through stories which can bring him no physical harm.
While he is almost confidant that his IQ is in the top 50%, his wife regularly reminds him of all the stupid things he does. He will neither admit nor deny the accusations of sarcasm, but he can act like he cares. Most of the time.
As an avid reader of horror and thrillers, and somewhat of a movie buff in those genres, he still blames his insomnia on Global Warming. Because he can.
He would also like to apologize in advance for any swear words which might slip through…he will blame that on the insomnia.
Patrick Zonn is a former journalist and communications director for a major publisher. He is the lead curator at IndieMuse.
